Description:
A sneak preview of the Arts Council of England's innovative series of performance works for the camera, produced for BBC2.

This new initiative brought together a number of Britains most imaginative and acclaimed performance artists (Bobby Baker, Julian Maynard Smith and Ronald Fraser Munro among them) who were each commissioned to make a new work for television. The line-up is completed by selected representatives of a younger generation of visual artists (such as Sam Taylor-Wood, Gillian Wearing and John Wood & Paul Harrison) who have equally memorably and provocatively featured performative ideas in their work.
