Description:
Fashion, food and drink, health and beauty, mothercare, household appliances and sex and romance......'What She Wants' takes a sideways look at consumerism from the female perspective, at all items advertisers tell us we can't live without!

A colourful fusion of video, animation and computer imaging, the single tape piece will be premiered at Video Positive 91, as a multi-monitor installation in St John's Shopping Centre. What She Wants - Every Shopping Centre Should Have One!

What She Wants features the work of Julie Myers, Louise Forshaw, Krysttyan Borg, and for Jackdaw Media Strinda Davies, Laura Knight and Yvonne Eckersley.

The women who took part in this project are all skilled practitioners of either animation, video or computer imaging. The majority of the group are Liverpool based. A training programme led by Julie Myers at Jackdaw introduced the group to the creative potential of the Commodore Amiga.
