A programme of short video works reflecting on the recent transformations in Eastern and Central Europe and the shift of our east/west perceptions in the 1990s. The selected video artists are concerned with the current crisis of society, culture, representation, gender and identity. Through the use of basic or highly advanced video technology they are trying to question and re-invent the previously fixed notions of selfhood and history.
