| Biography: | At the time Helen de Witt was a cinema
programmer for the LUX Centre for Film, Video and
Digital Arts in London. Prior to this she worked in
individual distribution and exhibition for Cinenova,
and the Scala and Electric cinemas in London.
She taught Film Studies at Birbeck College and
has written widely on independent film, its
