BICA is a group of artists, both
established and those emerging from the
local community, based in Britain, yet
brought together by their common South
Asian ancestry. Within the broad
diversity of their cultural and artistic
approach, there are political and
aesthetic issues common to them which
gives their work it's Asian/Black-British
consciousness, yet sensitive 'edge'.
