Daniel Reeves was born in the USA.
He studied Cinema Studies and
Anthropology at Ithaca College, New
York.
Daniel Reeves has been working in
sculpture, photography, film and video
since 1970. He has produced a
considerable body of independent video
work, which has been exhibited at
festivals all over North America, and
Europe, and in Japan and Brazil. He has
also been an Artist-in-Rosidence at the
WNET Television Lab and the
Experimental Television Centre in
Oswego, New York, and lectures at various
US educational institutions.
His work has been commissioned by
and broadcast on Britain's Channel 4
television, and also broadcast in the
USA Boston, Los Angeles and New
York and in Italy, Canada, Sweden and
Austria.
