Biography: Zoe Redman was born in London. She
studied at Coventry Polytechnic 1977-
80. She lectured at
Humberside College of Higher Education
and at North East London Polytechnic.
As well as producing many single
screen video works and video
installations, Zoe Redman's work has
included multi-media performance
pieces. Her video works have been
screened widely in Britain, and also in
Italy, Denmark, Canada, Holland and
Japan. She has performed, and exhibited
installations widely in Britain, and is
part
of the Arts' Council Video Artists on Tour
scheme. As a woman artist, Redman
uses her work to raise, confront and
debate 'issues that are important to
womankind as a whole' (ZR).
