Belfast. Studied in Glasgow.
1997:
They produce both single-screen
videotapes and installations, and their
work together has been shown in the
Netherlands and the UK Both artists live
and work in Glasgow.
The Glasgow-based artists Stephanie
Smith and Edward Stewart have been
working collaboratively since their first
installation Intercourse 1993. Their
intense performance related videos
explore mutual complicity and trust and
have been shown both nationally and
internationally, most recently in France,
Denmark, Japan and Switzerland.
