Catherine Elwes is one of Britain's best-
known feminist video artists. She is also
a writer, critic and theorist on video art,
with a special interest in women's work.
She selected and introduced this
programme of 1980's women's work
for the Video Positive '89 Festival.

Catherine Elwes is a video artist, writer
and lecturer. She has worked both in
video installation, and on single format
tapes. Her tapes have been seen on
television in the UK and at numerous
festivals and events both in the UK and
abroad.
