| Biography: | Nedko Solakov lived and worked in Sofia at the
time and has exhibited and published
extensively.
He was the official representative of
Bulgaria in the Venice Biennale in 1999,
following earlier participation in 1993 and
1995. Previously, Solakov was featured
at Sao Paulo Biennial in 1994 and
Kwangju Biennial in 1997.
He was selected to exhibit at Moderna Museet,
Stockholm; Portikus/lkonen-Museum, Frankfurt
am Main; Casino Luxembourg; Kunstmuseum,
Bonn; Jeu de Paume, Paris and Biennial de
