| | Biography: | Over the past 30 years, Hershman's
work has included photography, film,
video, performance and computer-
interactive installations. She produced
her first interactive laser disk, lorna' in
the years 1979 -1983. All of her work
questions the idea of truth; she often
employs the documentary format to
achieve this.
SELECTED EXHIBITIONS:
Hershman has had over 150 exhibitions
in museums and galleries throughout the
world including the Museum of Modern
Art in New York, Italy, Paris and the ICA
London. She is
one of the winners of the Siemens / ZKM
Media Arts Award for 1995.
