Biography: Katherine Meynell was born in 1954.
She studied at Byam Shaw School of
Art and at the Royal College of Art. She
currently works as an artist and as a
lecturer in further and higher education.
Katherine Meynall has a background in
performance, as well as film and video.
However, since 1982 she has
concentrated on video work, producing
single screen and installation works.
Her work has been shown in many parts of
Britain, is part of the Arts Council's
Video
Makers on Tour scheme and featured in
the London Video Arts' touring
package, 'Genlock', and in the Film and
Video Umbrella's package: 'Electric
Eyes'.
